Booking is open online for student involved learning conferences. Please book a time to come discuss your child's progress with me on November 21 or 22. Last week's basic facts quizzes need to be signed and returned as soon as possible. Our last day of swimming is tomorrow. Book fair will be taking place in the library from tomorrow until Friday. Our class will visit book fair on Wednesday morning and you can also go during student involved learning conferences. November's school spirit day is on Wednesday and is "reverse day" - teachers can dress as students and students can dress as teachers. Theatre field trip forms and payment are due by Friday. The Reading... Give It a Shot program is still going on so make sure to return reading logs in exchange for hockey cards.
Morning recap:
This morning we jumped right back into our novel study in language arts. We read chapter 4 and then completed a journal response based on topics from chapter 3 and 4. When we finished our writing, we had time to complete the chapter 3 and 4 comprehension questions. We took a break to go to swimming and then continued our novel study work before lunch.
