Messages and Reminders:
Integers quizzes went home today for you to look over, sign, and return. There are also many ratios unit tests and basic facts / computation quizzes still need to be signed and returned. Outdoor school forms are due back by the end of February. Next Wednesday is pink shirt day - see http://www.pinktshirtday.ca/why-pink-t-shirts.html for more info about this day. Next Thursday afternoon is our field trip to SJAM junior high.
Morning Recap:
This morning after music, we did a quick integers review before writing the quiz. Quizzes have been marked and were sent home today so they can be signed and returned as soon as possible. Most of us did well on the quiz. In language arts, we continued working on our stories. The expectation is that when we finish our first draft, we revise and edit our own work and have a friend complete an editing checklist for us as well. Once both checklists are complete, we can move onto typing our second draft. During gym, we played bench dodgeball against the grade fives. We ended the morning by going over the answers to the problems on the integers quiz and putting some papers into our math folders.
