Messages and Reminders:
Many ratios unit tests and basic facts / computation quizzes still need to be signed and returned. Outdoor school forms are due back by the end of February. There is no school on Thursday, Friday, or Monday.
Morning Recap:
This morning after music, we caught up on unfinished math or did read to self or someone. During language arts, we continued story writing. In math, we worked on integer word problems. We had to look for clue words to determine if the numbers were positive or negative. For example, if something is below sea level, that means it's a negative number. We ended the morning going outside for gym with Mr. Shackelton's class since there is a lacrosse residency happening in the gym today and tomorrow (our day for it is tomorrow).

Thursday, February 13 - no school (teachers' convention)
Friday, February 14 - no school (teachers' convention)
Monday, February 17 - no school (Family Day)
Tuesday, February 18 - science project due
