Meet the teacher is tonight. Hope to see you all there! There is no school tomorrow. Our first spelling list went out today. The words/phrases this week are math focused. Students need to write each word/phrase in a sentence and return it by next Thursday, September 26. We are still deciding on the date for the spelling test so stay tuned, but it should be next Thursday or Friday.

This morning when we got back from ignite, we worked on our fingerprint poems if we weren't done or made words out of the letters in FINGERPRINT. We got our spelling lists and then did a quick review of adding and subtracting decimals. It is just like adding and subtracting whole numbers, but we have to be careful to line up the decimals so that it ends up in the correct place. We saw our buddies today since there is no school tomorrow. Today we did buddy interviews to get to know each other a bit better. When we got back upstairs, we completed our week in review and then helped clean up the classroom. We ended the morning with gym and then a trip to the library.
