Our social studies unit test is tomorrow. The January pillars of care assembly is next Friday morning. Notes will go home with our winners early next week. The parent meeting about outdoor school is Thursday, January 30 at 6:00.
Morning Recap:
This morning after ignite, we did a reading assessment. We read a short story (3 times, as close readers do), annotated it, and answered comprehension questions about it. It's possible something top secret happened during the reading assessment, but we can't say for sure because what happens in room 20 stays in room 20. In math, students who were away yesterday wrote the basic facts / computation quiz while the rest of us did Mathletics on the iPads. We ended the morning with gym and library.
Also, Joshua and Richard won our bet...we had 10 students in our class for most of the morning (1 more showed up an hour before lunch)!
